  1. High Blood Pressure, 
  2. Atterton-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), 
  3. Spasticity
  4. Opioid Disbalance, 
  5. some times Hot Flashes due to Menopause Symptoms. 

Role of Central Alpha Agonists in CNS

  • Alpha 2A: (Brain, Spinal Cord) --- Anesthetic, Sympatholytic Response (Decrease in HR and BP). 
  • Alpha 2B: (Thalamus, Vascular smooth muscle Cells) --- Induction in hypertensive Response (very short term) 
  • Alpha 2C: (Basal Ganglia) --- Modulation in sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic actions.
